Barney, Gay?!

It is official, Neil Patrick Harris has confirmed the rumors saying that he was gay. Now, I just think it's funny how the character he plays in How I Met Your Mother is such a womanizer. You have to admit, Neil Patrick Harris is a really good actor, who would have know from his performance, right?
It seems to be a trend this year to come out, after Lance Bass and T.R. Knight, it was Neil Patrick Harris' time apparently.
Who will be next?

Johnny Lee Miller in a new Pilot for ABC

For all of you fans of Johnny Lee Miller out there, you will be happy to know that he was cast in a new pilot for ABC called Eli Stone. After his short time lived on Smith, I am glad to see that Johnny Lee Miller is moving on and am excited to know that we will be seeing more of him on TV (of course if the show gets picked up). So keep a look out for him!
(And for those who are wondering: Yes Johnny Lee Miller is Angelina Jolie's ex-husband!)

For more information on Eli Stone, check out our post on Daemon's TV.

Did you know Holly Marie Combs met her husband on the set of Charmed? He was a key grip on the show. Well, congratulations to both of them!

Amanda Peet pregnant

As most of you know, Amanda Peet (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) is pregnant. It was just announced however that her pregnancy will be written into the script of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Now the only question is: Who will be the father? I guess we'll have to tune in to find out!

Jaime Pressly engaged

You might know her best as Joy, Earl's ex-wife in My Name Is Earl, but Jamie Pressly just got engaged to her friend of nine years, Eric Cubiche (a DJ in Los Angeles).
Jaime Pressly and her new fiancee only started dating last year. It looks like this couple might last, I mean come on, in nine years they had time to figure out they really wanted to be together.
Congratualtions to them!

T.R. Knight gay

I guess it's out and everybody now knows that T.R. Knight (George on Grey's Anatomy, one of my favorite characters of the show) is gay. I guess that doesn't really come as a surprise, but at least now that it's out in the open there won't be any rumors and gossip anymore.
Plus T.R. Knight's popularity is going up now
which means we will see more and more of him. Now how can that be a bad thing?!
Go T.R. Knight!

Michael Angarano will be appearing in eight episodes of the upcoming season of 24 on FOX. He has just finished shooting them. Michael Angarani will be playing a character named Scott on 24. You might remember Michael Angarano from movies such as Sky High (he played Will, the main character), Lords of Dogtown (he played Sid) and/or his many appearances in TV shows such as ER.

Nathan Fillion - back on TV

It looks like we will be seeing Nathan Fillion on TV soon again (for fans of Firefly Mal is back!). Unfortunately he will not reprise his role of Malcom Reynolds in Firefly. However, Nathan Fillion has made a deal with Fox Broadcasting Co. and 20th Century Fox TV which states that they will develop a comedy or drama script for him. But that's not all, if for some reason that script does not become a pilot, Nathan Fillion has to be cast in an existing project. Now I say Bravo to whoever negotiated that deal! That's entertainment!
Hopefully this time he will stay on TV for a longer time than Firefly (one can only hope :-) )

Does Kyle Gallner always play killers?

Some of you might remember Kyle Gallner better assidy "Beaver" Casablancas from Veronica Mars, but it seems that in addition to being the killer in Veronica Mars, Kyle Gallner just scored a new part as a troubled teenager on Cold Case. The episode of Cold Case named "Rampage" aired on September 24th 2006. Kyle Gallner plays the part of Cameron, one of two troubled teenagers who go on a shooting spree in a mall and then shoot themselves. I have been a fan of Kyle Gallner ever since Veronica Mars, and was very upset that he was not going to be a regular during the third season of the show. To my surprise, as I watched the episode "Rampage" of Cold Case, I was happy to find Kyle Gallner as one of the actors for the episode. However, I found it very funny to see that again he was cast as a troubled teenager. No doubt about it, he is brilliant in that role, I just hope that he will not get typecast as "the troubled teenager", because I think he has more to offer to the screen. Atcually, before the reveal at the end of the second season of Veronica Mars, Kyle Gallner's role as Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas was geared towards a different direction, and he was brilliant as the underdog of the group.
All of this is to say that I hope I will get to see Kyle Gallner soon again on TV (even if it is as a psychopathic killer again!)

Sarah Michellle Gellar doesn't want to do TV anymore

Sarah Michelle Gellar has stated that she was never going to go back to Television. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was too "exhausting", she says. She finds films easier to make. Sarah Michelle Gellar states how a movie is only an hour and a half, but that they were filming that amount of time almost every week on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Too bad, I have to say I quite enjoyed seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar every week. I guess I will have to contend myself with seeing her on the bif screen from now on.

Smith and Kidnapped cancelled

This is not surprising but I am sure a little disappointing for fans of Smith and Kidnapped, but both shows were cancelled.
NBC will still air 13 episodes of Kidnapped. As for Smith, CBS hasn't announced any plans for the airing of a conclusion to the short lived show.

Lost - Next Week's Episode

Here is a preview for the upcoming episode of Lost this week:

Jericho

So I started watching Jericho and have about 1/3 left. It is quite impressive. They were able to hook me in within a few minutes. It could be one of those shows here to stay.
At least I will be tuning in from now on and let's hope that the followig episodes will be as exciting as the first one.

Wednesday Night Shows

Tonight new shows start and return. I will be tuning in for Jericho (one of the shows I am very excited about, hope it will be good).
"Criminal Justice" is another favorite of mine as it deals with psychological sides of Serial Killers, not only entertaining but instructive too.
As I have already seen the first episode of "Kidnapped" through Netflix, I will not be watching "Kidnapped" tonight. I was pretty disappointed by the pilot, let's hope it will get better.
This week is getting more and more exciting.

WEDNESDAY 9/20:
8pm - Bones (FOX)
Jericho (CBS) *NEW*
9pm - Criminal Minds (CBS)
Justice (FOX) *NEW*
10pm - CSI: NY (CBS)

NCIS (CBS)
9pm - Law & Order: CI (NBC)
The Unit (CBS)
10pm - Smith (CBS) *NEW*

Prison Break - Map 1213

So I started watching last night's episode and I have to say that "Prison Break" is getting better and better. They have finally found a way to reunite some of the characters like T-Bag, Michael, Lincoln and Newbie. This is bound to be interesting. The only ones missing in action are C-Note and Sucre, but hey that might change after C-Note jumped from a moving train and Sucre had to escape cops (again).
Finally the old clan is back together, with the exception of Abruzzi of course.

'Til Death - online

You can now find episodes of the new sitcom "'Til Death" online on the Fox Website. I have watched one of the episodes that I otherwise would not have and I have to say it was pretty relaxing and fun. Great to watch during breaks at work. Not sure it will last, but you never know.
